Okay so I did the thing everyone told me not to do and bought a Giulia last month and honestly I have zero regrets about the car itself, it drives like nothing else in this price range and I get a little excited every time I take it out. The panic is setting in though because I'm starting to think about what happens when something actually needs attention and everyone I know here either drives a German car or a Japanese one so nobody has useful advice. I spent a good chunk of last weekend going down a rabbit hole trying to figure out who actually has proper experience with Italian cars in this city and stumbled onto a few forum threads mentioning a place specializing in Alfa Romeo repair in Abu Dhabi which was reassuring because I genuinely wasn't sure if I'd just have to go back to the dealer every single time something came up. Does anyone here actually own an Alfa or another Italian brand locally and have you found mechanics who get the quirks of these cars or is it mostly trial and error until you find someone decent?
