INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Instructions for wrapping the cuff: Make sure the cuff is wrapped on bare-skinned arm or on thin fabric of your left arm and place the cuff at the center of your elbow, then wrap the cuff to keep a distance of 2-3cm from the elbow (refer to the illustration below).
Notice:
1.Do not wrap the cuff to tightly (if not, the measurement will not be accurate).
2.Make sure to keep the correct position at the same height as your heart. (refer to below illustration).
TIPS BEFORE MEASURING BLOOD PRESSURE
- Relax for about 5 minutes before measuring
- Do not smoke or drink any coffee at least 30 minutes before measuring
- Remove any shirt or fabrics on your arm and place the cuff on the upper arm bare-skinned.
- Hold still and do not talk until the measuring process is finished.
- The cuff is wrapped not too light or too loose. Use a little force, then you will be able to place 2 fingers between the handcuffs and your arms.
Instructions for measuring blood pressure
Manual measuring instructions:
After wrapping the cuff and siting in the correct position, press the button one time. The Bluetooth icon will be displayed on the screen (as shown below). The user only has to press the button one more time to start measuring. Measuring process is finished, the result of diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure, and heart rate will be displayed on the screen.
Instructions to measure by using FaCare App:
- Download the application
- Go to App Store or Play Store or scan QR Code
- Type “FaCare” in the application search section
- Go to Settings
- Sign up for an account
- Click on Registration
- Type in phone number à This is your login ID
- Create a password of at least 6 characters
- You can skip this part, “Only enter when given by a doctor”
- Instructions for connecting to measuring equipment:
- After wrapping and sitting in the correct position, press the button, then the device’s bluetooth will be activated. User enters the application and click on the “+” sign to add a connecting device.
- Click the “+” button to add device à Click on the device’s name to connect as shown in illustration à Device is connected.
- User then only needs to press the measurement button on the application to perform a measurement process. The meter will begin to pump air into the cuff. When the process is finished, the results will appear on the device screen and at the same time, will be synchronized with FaCare App.
Blood Pressure Assessment
The following criteria are used to evaluate high blood pressure (regardless of age or gender) have been identified by WHO (World Health Orginization) as guidelines. Refer to figure 10. Please note that other risk factors (e.g diabetes, obesity, smoking,etc.) need to be considered as they may influence these indicatiors. Consulting a doctor for accurate results.
