INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

 

  1. Sanitary: wash hands with soap and warm water, dry your hands before measuring.

 

  1. Open the Pen cap

 

  1. Insert blood collecting needles into the Pen

 

  1. Close the Pen cap

 

  1. Adjust the needle’s depth: notice: Choose level 1-2 for soft skin, 3-4 for average skin, and 5-6 for thick or callused skin.

 

  1. Pull the slider of the blood collecting pen when you hear a clicking sound, and the pen’s button turns yellow.

 

  1. Insert test strip into the device, notice: do not touch the 2 ends of the test strips

 

  1. The meter is ready when the test strip icon and blood drop icon appears on the screen.

 

  1. Apply antiseptic to the blood sampling point. Wait 30 seconds.

 

  1. Take blood sample . Place the prepared pen to the tip of your finger where you want to draw blood. Press the button on the body of the pen to take blood sample.

 

  1. Insert the tip of the test strip into the blood sample. Notice: If the amount of blood is not enough, you must repeat the measurement procedure from the beginning.

 

  1. Result is given in 5 seconds

 

  1. Dispose the used needle. Notice: when disposing the used needle, insert the sharp end of the needle into the protective plastic piece as shown below to ensure safety for others.

 

  1. Dispose the used test strip. Press the push button on the body of the device, the test strip will automatically be pushed out of the device. Notice: When the test strip is being pushed out of the meter, the device’s Bluetooth will automatically be on.

 

  1. Connect with FaCare Application:

 

  • Install FaCare Health Monitoring App

 

  • For Android use Google Play, for Apple use App store to download the FaCare App, or you can scan

 

 the following QR Code.

 

  • Connect the meter with FaCare Health Monitoring App.

 

 

  • Step 1: Enable Bluetooth on your phone/tablet.

 

  • Step 2: Connect as shown in the image below

 

 

  • Log in your account à Press the + button to search for the meter à Choose the device to connect à Device is connected successfully

 

 

*Note:  FaCare Application will automatically connect to your device the next time you measure.
